Installation
Download Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mupen64plusae.v3.fzurita.pro (you will want the Pro version if you have an SD card, but also I just highly recommend the Pro version to remove ads)
Open M64Plus FZ, and allow permissions.
Click the Plus icon in the bottom right and choose select folder and navigate to your Nintendo 64 ROM directory. For obvious legal reasons, I can’t point you towards where ROMS are, but a good start would be Reddit and the ROMS subreddit.
Let it scan your Nintendo 64 games, it’ll take some time if you have a large library.
Click the three lines in the top left and head to Settings, Display and you can change the Rendered Resolution to higher if your device can handle it.
Mapping Controls
Now scroll down to Profiles on the left and select Controller.
Click the New icon in the top right and name it anything you want. Click OK.
Now map your device to Nintendo 64. I use the right stick on most devices to map the C Buttons to. However, that won’t work for all games, so you’ll likely be creating multiple controller profiles just like this.
When you’re done, head back to Profiles on the left and choose Select Profiles.
Change the Controller 1 Profile to the one that we just created.
Jump into any game from the main screen and if you use Android’s back button, or the back button on your device (if it has one), it’ll open the M64Plus FZ in-game menu.
You can Load State, Save State and more.
Per-game Settings
If you’d like to do per game settings, so have settings only apply to a single game, on the games screen, tap on a game and then select Settings from the menu.
Changing save location for Cloud Sync
Head to Settings, Data in the left menu.
Change Game data storage location to External.
Select External game data location and create a folder anywhere on the Internal Storage, I typically create it right where it brings you and named it M64Plus.
Now all of your save data will be in that folder.
