MiyooCFW
This setup guide assumes you want to start from scratch, with a brand new branded SD card and you will be providing your own ROMs & BIOS files. We will be installing MiyooCFW for this guide.
Head to the MiyooCFW Github page here, and download the latest release – .zip file under Assets.
Extract the .zip file to get two folders, one with musl and one with uClibc. We want the .img file that’s inside of the uClibc folder.
Now, connect your branded SD card to your PC, I have a recommendation above. Download Rufus if you don’t have it already.
Open Rufus, then choose select and you want to select the uClibc .img file.
Click Start and let it do its thing.
When that’s done, safely eject and pop the SD card into your V90 and turn it on. Let it do it’s thing until you see the main screen, then turn it off.
Insert the SD card back to your PC and you need to download a program called Partition Wizard, and you can find that here. Make sure to select the Free version and during the installation, ensure you select “Continue installing free edition” instead of the Trial.
Open MiniTool, find the Disk that has your SD card (can tell by the SD card size), then right click the MAIN partition and choose Extend. Slide the slider to the maximum and click OK. Then click Apply bottom left.
You’re done setting up MiyooCFW! Follow the other steps for adding ROM files.
Adding ROM files to MiyooCFW
Connect your SD card to your PC.
Head inside of the SD card (labelled main), then the roms folder, and you should see a bunch of folders for all of the systems that the device supports.
It should be pretty self explanatory at this point, but you want to move your ROMs for each system into the corresponding system folder.
